Our exhausts are easy to install, and don’t require complicated ECU remapping or tuning on the dyno. We use aluminised steel tubing, thick cut laser plates to ensure maximum durability, and maximum satisfaction with your upgrade!

Fitting Instructions – IGNITE 4” DPF-Back Side Exit Exhaust System
Vehicle Application: Toyota Land Cruiser 79 Series
Before You Begin:
Ensure the vehicle is securely parked on a flat surface and safely supported. Always allow the exhaust system to cool down before commencing removal or installation.
Installation Steps
- Remove the Factory Exhaust Components
- Detach the factory tailpipe and rear muffler assembly.
- Remove the factory connecting pipe and the DPF connecting pipe.
- Disconnect the O2 sensor plug.
- Transfer the O2 Sensor
- Carefully unscrew the O2 sensor from the factory exhaust.
- Reinstall the O2 sensor into the new IGNITE DPF connecting pipe.
- Install Rear Rubber Mount
- Fit the supplied rubber mount to the bracket located on the rear side-exit exhaust section.
- Leave the mount finger-tight at this stage.
- Refer to Image 1 for correct strap folding orientation.
- Install Rear Section First
- Begin installation with the rear section, which mounts over the chassis.
- Align the bolt from the rubber mount into the designated hole on the crossmember.
- Refer to Image 2 for guidance.
- Secure the bolt finger-tight only at this stage.
- Fit the DPF Connecting Pipe
- Connect the DPF pipe to the back of the DPF using the original factory spring bolts.
- Tighten only finger-tight for now.
- Secure Factory Rubber Mount
- Position the supplied rectangular stainless steel plate over the factory rubber mount.
- Reuse the two factory nuts to secure the plate.
- Join Sections with V-Band Clamp
- Use the V-Band clamp to join the rear section and DPF connecting pipe.
- Tighten the clamp until the connection is snug but still allows minor adjustment.
- Check Clearances
- Inspect the entire system for adequate clearance around chassis components, suspension, and bodywork.
- If necessary, insert temporary spacers where the exhaust is close to nearby surfaces.
- Final Tightening Sequence
- Starting from the front of the vehicle, progressively tighten all fittings and fasteners toward the rear.
- Remove any temporary spacers once everything is secure.
- Final Check and Test Drive
- Double-check all bolts and clamps for tightness.
- Reconnect the O2 sensor plug.
- Start the vehicle and listen for leaks or abnormal noises.
- Take the vehicle for a test drive to experience the enhanced V8 sound of your new IGNITE exhaust system.
